Who: Mark Daniel of Milford's The Limit. The rock band is just coming back from a tour of the Midwest and Southeast, and the guys are continuing to receive plenty of radio support. The band's hard-driving sound is reminiscent of many of the bands chosen on Mark's list, from Van Halen to Pearl Jam. The singer and guitarist says that while choosing the tunes, "The first thing that has always moved me was a great song. Whether it's bossa nova or metal, a great song is just that, a great song. I have a special relationship with rock music since it has moved me the most in my life," adding, "A great rock song stands the test of time and never grows old, no matter what the era or trends are. Rock will always be there, and great songs will always come out."
Where you can see him: The Limit's next Connecticut show is Dec. 10 at Toad's, with fellow Milford band Derrenger opening. But WCCC (106.9 FM) is currently palying the band's tunes during its 2 p.m. show. "It feels great to get that support here at home," says Daniel. And here's his list...
